Guru Purnima is celebrated to commemorate Gautam Buddha's first sermon to his first five disciples in Uttar Pradesh's Sarnath. Guru is revered by students. A guru guides and drives the students towards the right path. A guru illuminates the life of students and makes them achieve their life targets. So it is a good practice to celebrate Guru Purnima. School Of Management had celebrated “Guru Purnima” on 13/7/2022, Wednesday from 12.30pm onwards @SOM Seminar Hall. The festival of Guru Purnima celebrates the pious relationship between students and teachers. It commemorates the importance of Guru in life. The students of BBA 3 organized and managed this event with great enthusiasm. The event was initiated with the worship of Maa Saraswati followed by speeches, games and other activities. 130 students of BBA got an opportunity to express their gratitude and showcase their skills. The students made and presented a poster on their ideal guru and the characteristics which made them adore their Guru. The event was organized with an objective to bring awareness and cultivate our Cultural values among the students.
