BBA UBP - 2024

The School of Management at RK University conducted a comprehensive orientation program for the BBA Semester 1 students from 25th June to 5th July, 2024, with 260 students participating. The orientation began with the ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Pooja, followed by a dance performance on Ganpati Stuti and a musical performance, setting an auspicious and vibrant tone for the event. The program featured four alumni namely Amrish Purohit(Cluster Head- Saurashtra & Kutch- Tata Asset Management Private Limited), Krupal Ravaiya (Relationship Manager- ICICI Lombard General Insurance),Vijay Panasala(Data Analyst - Freelancer), Arzad Qadri (Owner - Texture) who shared their personal journeys, providing valuable insights and inspiration to the new students. Additionally, there were six expert talks namely Dr. Trupti Raja Kotak (Joint Specialist, IVF Specialist, SUJOK Therapist- Manav Baug Health Care Clinic, Rajkot), Vd Namrata Rathod (Assistant Professor, RK University), Harsha Acharya (Senior Wellness Coach), Rujata Acharya Patel (Senior Health & Wellness Coach), Bindi Popat (Personal Stylist & Image Consultant), Yashika Adwani (Soft Skills Trainer & Image Consultant) covering important topics such as teamwork, collaboration and time management, healthy lifestyle and physical fitness, etiquette and grooming, communication skills, medicine free home Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhanta aimed at fostering overall development.The orientation also included informative sessions on the RKU and SOM Introduction, SOAC clubs, exam cell, and scholarship guidance, helping students understand the resources and support systems available to them. Various workshops and life skills sessions conducted by the faculty of the School of Management provided practical skills and knowledge in different areas. The entire orientation program was meticulously managed by Prof. Pooja Pandya with the help of all the staff members under the guidance of Dr. Aarti Joshi, ensuring a well-organized and enriching experience for the new students.
