School Of Management RK University (Main Campus) organized an expert talk under the aegis of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) and YI (Young Indians) on topic of “Why Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Abuse are dangerous?”. The event was organised on 24 July 2024 at School of Management Seminar Hall. The experts for this session were Dr. Jwalant Chag (M.D. Psychiatry & Adolescent Psychiatry), Dr. Debadipti Pradhan (M.D. Radiation Oncology Rajkot Cancer Society). Experts explained to students’ various opioids circulating in the market. They warned students about the harmful effects of such substances and told them to stay away from it at all costs. They explained to students how such things can ruin one’s life completely and can bring them on the brink of death. Thus, it is totally necessary to spread such awareness among the young minds. The students were appreciative and thankful to the experts for sharing such knowledge. They expressed their gratitude towards the School of Management and Faculties for arranging such an informative Session.
