The School of Management at RK University conducted an extensive orientation program for the MBA Semester 1 students from July 9th to 16th, 2024, with 50 students participating. The event began with a Saraswati Pooja, setting a positive and vibrant atmosphere. Various experts from diverse fields contributed to the program, including Dr. Nirav Bhatt and Ms. Bhavisha Vyas (Owners of Chahal Academy & NB's Blackboard Rajkot), Mr. Yasin Dodhiya (Senior HR Executive at Jyoti CNC), Mr. Javil and Mr. Mohit (Cluster Heads at HFFC Company), Ms. Kausmi and Ms. Isha (Academicians), Dr. Hemanshi, Dr. Raviraj, and Mr. Varun Rathod (Owners of Team Light Bulb), Ms. Bindi Popat (Personal Stylist and Image Consultant), Mr. Viral Kothari (Chartered Accountant), Mr. Aasis Kumar Biswas (Vice President of EPP Composites Pvt Ltd), Ms. Vaishali Parekh (Business Coach and Owner of Krish Consultancy), and Ms. Richa Bhagdev and Mr. Pavak Unadkad (Senior Members of Rajkot YI). These experts covered important topics such as government exam preparation, mental, social, and physical well-being, etiquette and grooming, communication skills, marketing, business coaching, and transitioning from campus to corporate life. The orientation also featured sessions introducing RK University and the School of Management, SOAC clubs, the exam cell, and scholarship guidance, providing students with information about available resources and support systems. Faculty-led workshops and life skills sessions offered practical skills and knowledge in various areas. The entire program was meticulously managed by Prof. Varun Thadeshwar, with support from all staff members and under the guidance of Dr. Aarti Joshi, ensuring a well-organized and enriching experience for the new students.
